One of the world's greatest musical entertainers, Andre Rieu has recreated the atmosphere of 19th-century Viennese Dance Halls with his innovative stage performances famed for their high-energy drama and sense of fun. An award-winning violinist and conductor, Andre founded The Johann Strauss Orchestra in 1987, which now consists of up to 50 young musicians. Performing all over the world, Rieu and his orchestra have been instrumental in reviving waltz music and bringing it to a whole new audience. Andre's much anticipated return to the UK in 2012 will see them perform music taken from the whole range of Andre's albums - from 'Strauss and Co' to his latest release, 'And the Waltz Goes On', - in a series of unmissable concerts.
