The BBC Proms in the Park will feature a host of international stars to be compered once again by Sir Terry Wogan. For 2009 Katherine Jenkins will perform along with BBC Proms in the Park favourites the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Martin Yates with further artists to be announced.

The party gets underway with BBC Radio 2 presenter Ken Bruce introducing the pre show entertainment which will include highlights from One Night of Queen with Gary Mullen and the Works as well as the Counterfeit Stones.

The event is broadcast on BBC Television and Radio plus online across the World with the grand finale from the Royal Albert Hall shown by live feed on giant screens. The BBC Proms in the Park Restaurant offers guests a first class view of the stage and excellent cuisine to enjoy this night of musical excellence.
