The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the biggest celebration of motor sport in the world, with cars from the earliest steam carriages to Formula 1. The centrepiece of the event is the fabled Hill Climb and the competition is fierce to see who can motor up the hill from Goodwood House to the top of the downs in the quickest time.

Hill Pavilion
Named in honour of American World Champion Phil Hill, this pavilion is on the outside of the track at the first corner after the start line. Here the cars head towards you, flat out through the shadows of the Lime Avenue, before braking hard and turning into the corner right in front of your balcony. Then you see them power towards the Crossroads corner before accelerating hard past Goodwood House and away up the hill. A great place to watch and just a short walk from the start line itself. Private tables are available for groups of 2 - 12 persons.

Library Lawn
As the name suggests, a more secluded area where you will be looked after in a marquee on the private lawn of Goodwood House. Here you can enjoy some privacy away from the track itself. For those who cannot take their eyes off the cars, you will have reserved seats in the VIP grandstand at Crossroads corner. This exclusive area is perfect for smaller groups to entertain less formally. Private tables are available for groups of 2 - 12 persons.
