The 2010 Tour de France has been announced and it will be outstanding! 2010 throws up many intriguing stroy lines - can Alberto Contador achieve back to back wins, after triumphing in the 2009 Tour, will Bradley Wiggins improve on his 4th place in 2009, will Lance Armstrong complete a remarkable comeback with an 8th tour victory. British interest will also include a new team - Team Sky - as they compete in their first tour.

Blue Chip Hospitality are delighted to offer you a 4 night tour taking in 2 of the mountain stages through the Alps.  Stages 8 finishes with a big climb into the Alpine resort of Avoriaz on Sunday 11th July. Following a rest day stage 9 begins in Morzine.

Blue Chip Hospitality have an exclusive arrangement with Chalet Rustique in the picturesque resort of Chatel which is neighbouring to both Avoriaz and Chatel allowing you to enjoy one of the great sporting events in luxury.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Saturday 10th July

Your Chalet Host Paolo Sebastianelli will meet you at Geneva Airport and transfer you to Chalet Rustique in Chatel where you will spend 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 2 - Sunday 11th July

The riders enter the Alps with the 1st high mountain stage of the 2010 tour, a 189km stage that will take them from the ski station of Les Rousses to the ski station of Morzine-Avoriaz.

Following breakfast we will make our way to the final climb of the stage at Morzine-Avoriaz where you can pick out your viewing location, enjoy to the build up and ultimately see the riders do battle for the stage win.

After the excitement of the stage there is also the World Cup Final to enjoy back in Chatel.

Day 3 - Monday 12th July

As the Tour de France spends its 1st Rest Day in Morzine, this gives us the chance to enjoy one of the many alpine activities availabe - mountain biking, white water rafting, The Fantasticable, a visit to Geneva perhaps or simply a rest in the beautiful surroundings.

Day 4 - Tuesday 13th July

Day 4 allows you to get up close and personal with the riders as stage 9 begins in Morzine. Following breakfast we will make our way to Morzine where you can watch the riders warm up, get close to them as they fulfil media duties, enjoy the attractions of the tour and watch the start of the stage. You will then have the opportunity to watch the remainder of the stage in Morzine and sample this charming Alpine village.

Day 5 - Wednesday 14th July

After breakfast we shall transfer to Geneva airport for your flight home

Chalet Rustique

Built in 2006, Chalet Rustique is a modern chalet with luxury accommodation, providing the ultimate alpine retreat. The chalet has a capacity of 8 persons with 4 twin or double bedrooms, each of which is cosy and beautifully furnished and each room has an en-suite bathroom. The living area is spacious and open-planned and with a log burning fire set in the middle of the room. Combined with amazingly comfortable sofas you will find the living area relaxing and cosy.

We believe that quality food plays a very important part of your hospitality experience. Having trained under Michelin star chefs, Paolo has gained a wealth of experience in the world of cooking. With British and modern Italian influences, you will experience superb, freshly prepared simple food with great flavours. Each morning begins with a delicious continental breakfast including fresh croissants, selection of cereals and fresh fruit. The evening is then your time to sit back, relax and enjoy a four course meal served with fine wines.
